Smuut (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have adopted the following policy regarding the removal of infringing materials and the termination of repeat infringers.

1. Content Hosting & Attribution

Smuut hosts video content on its own servers. In many cases, videos are provided by content creators or third parties, and whenever possible, we include a source URL to credit the original creator.

However, because we host videos directly, we take copyright concerns very seriously. If you are a copyright holder and believe that your content has been uploaded to Smuut without proper authorization, you may request its removal by submitting a valid DMCA notice, as explained below.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that your work has been used on Smuut in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send us a valid DMCA Takedown Notice containing the following information:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
2. Identification of the infringing material by providing the exact URL(s) on Smuut where the content is located.
3. Your full legal name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

4. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that your content was removed in error or as a result of a misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice including:

• Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.

5. Repeat Infringers

Smuut reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who are found to repeatedly infringe upon the copyrights of others.

Smuut acts in good faith to comply with the DMCA but cannot assess the legal validity of claims. Any false or misleading notices may result in legal liability.
